Murder Mystery Mayhem
This is a custom-built murder mystery
party for your group with a THEY improv professional facilitating
the evening and making sure that everyone has a good time. With
our emcee watching over your group, the attendees are pitted against
one of their own, a murderer, who works to get away with murder!
If someone solves the crime, the murderer is found and the super
sleuth gets a prize. If the murderer gets away with it, he or
she gets the prize instead! Additionally, a prize is given to
the best actor/actress in your group. A great game for smaller
groups (15-50) that are looking for unique entertainment. Additional options are available for larger groups.
Scenarios:
The Millionaire's Mansion: (fits most occasions)
You are going to the estate of a multi-millionaire for the social event of the season. Various characters are there for various reasons. Some on busineess, some for pleasure, and some for more sinister reasons or even employees of the estate.
Celebrity Murder: (allows people to play celebrities for fun)
At a popular talk show hosts' guest appreciation party, the most popular guests or friend/celebrities become the prime suspects in the murder. The attendees get to take on celebrity roles to play them to comedic effect or even pushing their ability to perform impressions. A sure way to get people to break out of their shell and have a great time.
The Yacht Plot: (murder at sea that does not require being aboard ship)
Death on the waves results in your attendees all becoming suspects in the murder of a popular multi-millionaire. With a variety of celebrities, employees, and other colorful characters involved, its a great time for those involved.
The Dead Don: (murder in the mob...need we say more?)
Your attendees take on the role of various people invited the party of a reputed mob boss that...let's say...takes an early retirement this evening. Why involve the cops? Time to solve the murder yourselves!
Others:
We have come up with many other scenarios involving spies, haunted houses, holiday parties and many many more. These themes are sometimes aimed at specific age groups and can work for your group.
Time Warps:
The Speakeasy Slaughter: (murder in the 20's)
A murder of the owner of a speakeasy leads to an investigation by your attendees...a collective group of people that are all doing things that they shouldn't be. Who is the culprit?
The Rest In Peace Rally: (murder in the 70's)
Among your free love attendees is a murderer. By talking to each other, maybe you can find the murderer in your midst. After all, better that your group find the murderer than have the man get involved.
80's Rock Murder: (music television has never seen so much mayhem)
The murder of a music TV mogul leads to an investigation of your attendees playing a variety of characters straight out of the 80's. A sure good time for children of the 80's or others who would just enjoy playing characters from a cool time gone by.
