THEY improv's comedy is going to Get-R-Done
in a Blue Collar Tribute at FIU on February 19th.

Miami, FL: THEY improv, leaders in South Florida
college entertainment, continues to change the face of comedy
in with their tribute to Larry the Cable Guy in a Blue Collar
Tribute in honor of the new movie, Witless Protection,
on Tuesday, February 19th at FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus at 8pm.
The show will feature some of South Florida's best comedic talent
coming together to give FIU students a good-ole' time.
"The
Blue Collar man is taking over our colleges," said director
of THEY improv Todd Rice. "We're just going to give a tongue-in-cheek
tribute that will have everyone's necks turning a little red from
laughter."
The show will include a Blue Collar joke off and possibly some
promotional materials from the movie being given out to audience
members.
"We've expanded and have troupe members throughout the country,"
continued Rice. "It's great to be appreciated by our home
audience right here in South Florida."
The
show is being offered through FIU's Biscayne Bay Dramatics theatre
program and is free for all FIU students with ID. Non-FIU students
must pay $5 for admission. There is no 2-drink minimum and no
age requirement. And smoking is not allowed in the theatre.
Non-students may reserve seats by calling and leaving a message
on the THEY improv Hotline at (305) 948-7750. THEY improv will
provide the list to the University representatives and seats will
be held back by them until 5 minutes prior to showtime. Doors
open at 7:45 pm and the show begins at 8pm.
FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus is at 3000 NE 151st Street in North
Miami. Simply go to US-1 (Biscayne Blvd.) and 151st Street and
head East until you see FIU on the left. The show is in the Mary
Ann Wolfe Theatre. Parking is allowed for non-students in the
student parking area after 7pm.
