Perform for Superhero Weekend at Miami Seaquarium on June 23rd-24th.

FL: THEY improv, Miami's leaders in corporate
comedy entertainment, continues their effort at changing the face
of comedy in South Florida with their performances at Miami Seaquarium
on Saturday and Sunday (June 23rd-24th) as part of their Superhero
Summer.
In an afternoon full of super comedy, the members of THEY improv
will solve the world's problems one laugh at a time. Surrounded
by the 38-acre tropical paradise that the Miami Seaquarium calls
home, THEY will weave audience suggestions into comedic pieces
that will have even the dolphins flipping with laughter. The shows
will feature an improvised challenge with the actors taking on
the personas of superhero characters defined by the audience that
don't exist in current comics.
Three shows are planned each day with the show being free with
a paid admission to the park. "It's our way of saying thanks
to the supporters of the Miami Seaquarium," said THEY improv
Director Todd Rice. "Not only are they a great organization
to work for, they do great things for the community and for the
environment. It may not be super-heroic, but what they do everyday
is the type of hero-ing we all need more of."
This event is part of the Miami Seaquarium Superhero Summer Celebration
(running from June through August) and will feature different
superheroes like ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Fantastic4’ as well as themed
shows and giveaways every weekend throughout the summer. Kids
will practice and perfect their hero skills at the new Superhero
Play Zone from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday with
a rock-climbing wall, bungee bounce and a bounce house. In addition,
kids wearing their favorite superhero costume each weekend will
receive a special gift from the Miami Seaquarium.
