FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THEY
improv launches "THEY improv Kids Education" to improve school
education in South Florida.
Fort
Lauderdale , FL: THEY improv, South Florida's
Comedy With A Cause and corporate comedy leaders,
continues their effort at changing the face of comedy by launching
an effort at improving education in the area. Their "THEY
improv Kids Education" is designed to provide entertaining
education to elementary and middle school youths using comedy
to teach.
The 45-60 minute interactive school shows entertains both kids
and adults with spontaneous creation of material on the spot.
The children learn the fundamentals of story telling and are involved
in the creation of what happens on stage. Audience members also
participate in the show and keep up the interest of everyone in
attendance. Because the show is improvised, each performance is
unique and tailored to the audience.
"We
have become known for our efforts at improving life in South Florida,"
said THEY improv director Todd Rice. "It's only natural that
we'd find a way to provide service that our education system can
use."
These shows are extremely flexible and can fulfill educational
needs while remaining entertaining. Performances can take place
in gymnasiums, theatres, lunchrooms, fields, libraries, or even
the roof!
Likewise, these shows are available throughout Miami-Dade, Broward
and Palm Beach County.
Though these shows are designed specifically for schools, others
can take advantage of this program, such as day schools, temples,
day care, summer programs, festivals, carnivals, or civic outdoor
events.
Interested parties should contact THEY improv to find out how
a show can be customized to your needs. You will be surprised
at how entertaining, fun and cost-effective THEY improv can be.
