THEY improv - August 2007
Newsletter
THEY
improv looks forward to another exciting month of public shows
and private events.
THEY improv is going to perform
this Friday at a bar called the Mental Ward in Fort Lauderdale
to promote the movie THE TEN. It's based on the Ten Commandments,
but in no way any movie has done before. It'll make for a great
night of comedy and all attendees will receive free tickets to
an advanced screening of the film for free!!! It only costs from
$1-10 chosen by the roll of the dice. There is no two-drink minimum,
but drinks are available. We might film the show for use to submit
to festivals and are looking for our fans to come out and support
us in this effort. The show is at 9pm on Friday, August 3rd. Information
about the location is at www.theyimprov.com/where.htm.
These newsletters are designed to reduce the times we contact
you to only once a month. We have many public events and I don't
want to flood your inbox. If you ever have any problem with any
of our emails, please contact us immediately and we are happy
to remove you from our list.
August is yet another banner month, in addition to our private
shows, we have three major charity events raising money and awareness
for great causes.
Besides our First Friday show at the Mental Ward bar in Fort Lauderdale
at 9pm on August 3rd, we are also appearing on Saturday, August
11th in South Dade to benefit the American Cancer Society, Thursday,
August 16th at the Hollywood Center for the Performing Arts to
benefit victims of Darfur, and Wednesday, August 22nd at the Hard
Rock Improv to benefit the Reach For The Stars Foundation. More
details are on the website at www.theyimprov.com.
THEY
improv director Todd Rice teaches improv classes at the Improv
at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. A new 8 week course will
begin in September. And the current class that is going to have
a graduation at the beginning of September will begin an advanced
class only available to the earlier students and improvisers with
over 2 years of performance experience. If you have interest in
classes, please let us know.
We hope to see you at one of our shows!
You may have received this because you signed up for information
from our website or at one of our events. We are purposely putting
this in one big email for the month so that we don't flood your
inbox. If you don't want to receive it again, just let us know
and we'll be happy to make certain that you do not.
If you want any information on any of these events or on anything
else, simply contact us at info@theyimprov.com.
Thank you,
Todd Rice
