'Justifiable
homicide' ... is the term THEY improv troupe gives to its
benefit murder mystery performances, earmarked to aid various
charitable organizations.
On June 6, at 7 p.m., the company is not only going to see that one of its members meets an untimely demise, onstage that is, but the show is set on the infamous doomed ocean liner Titanic. But as THEY director Todd Rice assures us, "Those attending are in first class, so they will have first dibs on the lifeboats."
Proceeds from this performance will go to Whispering Oaks of Davie, a residential program serving young men and women with developmental disabilities. Tickets are $60, which includes dinner and show, both held at the New Mermaid restaurant, 1437 S. Powerline Road, Pompano Beach. For reservations, call THEY's hotline, (305) 948-7750.
