Comedy troupes Laughing Gas
and THEY improv got lots of laughs at a benefit for Gilda's Club
South Florida. More than 250 guests watched the show at the Improv
Comedy Club and Dinner Theater at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel
& Casino near Hollywood. Majic 102.7 radio announcer Joe Johnson,
who used to do standup comedy, served as master of ceremonies
at the event, which raised $2,500. Gilda's Club South Florida,
named for the late comedian Gilda Radner, provides social and
emotional support networks for cancer patients, and their families
and friends.
