A comedy scene given to fits and starts is in the midst of several
starts. The fresh energy is coming almost entirely from shows
that require an ensemble cast...
Laughing Gas member Todd Rice debuts his Broward-based improv
group THEY at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Lauderdale Children's
Theatre, 640 N. Andrews Ave. The 90-minute adult-themed show will
benefit the theater.
THEY is made up of eight performers with experience at other South
Florida improv troupes. Rice will direct. Tickets are $7. Call

About THEY improv
THEY improv is an informal group of actors
getting together and performing improv, often for charities and
always for the betterment of everyone. For now there is no corporate
structure and no financial relationship, with their first several
performances to be done for charities and the money never even
being seen by the troupe. Marketing funds and efforts will either
be donated by the members or provided by the charities themselves.
