Attention, Earth people! THEY are coming to a town near you. Oh, don't panic. We're not talking about midnight visitations by alien abductors here (sorry). We mean THEY Comedy Improv, Broward's posse of comic ad-libbers. THEY love capital letters, and THEY're all over the map around here, most often raising money for charities at places like the Seminole Hard Rock or Kravis Center.
If you haven't caught their act yet, do so on Friday, when THEY'll stage a one-of-a-kind event called “Caffeinated Comedy.” This 90-minute, interactive show takes place in a café environment, with an array of coffees, teas, and finger foods to sample. Needless to say, the wacky hijinks are sure to ensue when everyone gets all hyped up on joe. Too bad they don't stage events like these at 6 in the morning, when we could really use coffee and a laugh.
THEY Comedy Improv performs Friday at Nob Hill Hall (10200 Sunset
Strip, Sunrise). The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20
