TV'S KEEGAN MICHAEL KEY TO PERFORM WITH THEY IMPROV COMEDY TROUPE'S
"HOPE FOR VISION" LIVE SHOW BENEFIT

THEY
IMPROV joins Mad TV's Keegan Michael Key in a special long form
improv show to benefit "Hope for Vision," Live! on stage,
at the North Miami Beach Theatre of the Performing Arts on Monday,
April 24, at 7 pm. Funds raised will be used to raise awareness
of degenerative diseases and to help fight for prevention and
a cure, as well as providing tools and information for those coping
with vision loss.
"Keegan Michael Key is an excellent actor trained in the
Chicago tradition," said Todd Rice director of Improv, "We've
been developing these skills for some time and are honored that
Keegan will work with us on continuing the Chicago tradition for
our local audiences." Keegan Michael Key was a member of
the Second City Detroit Mainstage more than three years where
he performed and wrote three shows. His film credits include,
"Mr. 3000," "Uncle Nono," and independent
film "Alleyball." He is now the host of "All New
Planet's Funniest Animals."
The
"Illegally Blind" event will feature a variety of top
notch entertainment, in a ddition to Keegan, the Miami Heat Dancers,
DJ Le Spam, The Green Room, and the Laughing Gas Improv Theatre
Company. They Improv's program, "Comedy With a Cause,"
continues to change the face of comedy in South Florida by joining
this show. They have been selected as the Best short Form Troupe
for Broward County.
The North Miami Beach Theatre of the Performing Arts is located
at 17011 NE 19th Ave., North Miami Beach. Tickets are $30 per
person and $10 for students. Further information is available
