THEY

The Swan Lake Resort Hotel reopened (formerly the Stevensville), the Concord is open for business and even the closed facilities often have their golf courses active.
So many comedians got their start here. It was literally a proving ground allowing the up-and-comers to try out their material and learn from live audiences. To mention just a few of the Borscht Belt comedians barely scratches the surface, but some of the more famous names are Woody Allen, Milton Berle, Mel Brooks, Lenny Bruce, George Burns, Red Buttons, Sid Caesar, Rodney Dangerfield, Phyllis Diller, Buddy Hackett, Alan King, Robert Klein, Jerry Lewis, Jackie Mason, Carl Reiner, Don Rickles, Joan Rivers and Jonathan Winters. While we don't pretend to have these greats in the cast, we try to do justice to their legacy and entertain the crowds with shows that they'll enjoy and again have the mountains echoing with laughter.
