THEY improv to celebrate the Pledge of Allegiance
in "One Laugh Under God" on October 12th.
Cambridge, MA: THEY
improv, leaders in New England corporate comedy
events, is performing a rare public show October 12th at 11:20pm
at Improv Boston in Cambridge. "One Laugh Under God"
will be celebrating the Pledge of Allegiance as only the leaders
in New England corporate and satirical comedy could. This is a
rare opportunity for the public to see what has only been able
to be enjoyed by corporate clients in New England.
"One
Laugh Under God" is a comedy show designed to send-up all
things allegiant (it's a word). By the end, THEY improv will have
the audience pledging their support for more public shows.
"We're as patriotic as anyone, maybe even more so" said THEY improv
director Todd Rice. "But there's something inherently funny about
saying those words together in school. And who knew what 'indivisible'
meant?"
And in honor of the freedom the flag represents, all attendees
will get in for free! That's right, there is no charge for this
one-of-a-kind performance.
With a troupe comprised of some of the most talented improvisers,
THEY improv has proven to be a comedic force in the corporate
market of New England.
"Finally we get a chance to perform for general audiences,"
continued Rice. "Because we concentrate on corporate events,
some of the funniest shows in New England go unnoticed."
